Every child has strengths. This activity will help your students realize that they are each unique and smart. It is the perfect activity to help build a strong classroom community, one that is safe and supportive for every student.
Students take a 40 question interest survey, score it and their scores correlate to different categories that they are “best” at. With the results they then color a body that shows their order of intelligences.
Everything you need to complete this lesson is included from start to finish including:
-Guide to the 8 Smarts
-40 Question Interest Survey
-Boy and Girl Option for Bodies
-Bulletin Board Letters
-Examples of Student Work
This activity can be used for a back to school activity or anytime throughout the year when your classroom community needs to be strengthened. The end goal is that each student will understand where their strengths are and that those strengths are more than likely different from their classmates (and that’s okay).
