Thanks for stopping by! I want to do a quick introduction for you! I am Cassie, a fifth grade teacher in Northern Minnesota. I have experience teaching both fourth and fifth grade (currently in fifth). I teach in a self-contained classroom so I teach it all (science, math, reading, writing and social studies)!
I have a fully flexible seating classroom with over 40 options for students to choose from for their seating for the day. I am obsessed with my “second home” and love sharing about all of the fun and engaging activities I do with my students!

I originally started blogging eight years ago when I was student teaching. I found that the blogging world was an awesome resource that I could use to learn from and hone my craft. I fell in love with sharing ideas and dove in with my education blog and started sharing ideas and freebies.
My site has developed over the last eight years to now be a one-stop-shop for all things upper elementary. You will find ideas for science, social studies, math, and reading. Since I teach in a 1:1 iPad district, I love infusing my lessons with technology and sharing all about it here. I also have a passion for organization and classroom management, so you will find a steady stream of ideas related to those topics too!
About Me… A Bit More Personal!
I am happily married to an absolute rockstar husband who is a Special Ed (EBD) teacher in the same building as me! We have a spunky 3 year old little girl who keeps us on our toes! We also have an adorable 9 month old who has completely stolen our hearts. Add two fur babies (pugs) to the mix and that’s our chaotic little corner of the world!
